Meetings update

Due to the relocation of Marylebone Library, we will be having a gap for a few weeks, and then next meeting on 2nd September at Macintosh House on Beaumont Street.

Our ‘homework’ is to write about our favourite places in London. This can of course be a story, a poem, travel style writing, an article, even the inklings of a novel, whatever you wish…. If you like you can bring your work along to our next meeting and share it with the group. 🙂

Meanwhile – We are thinking on meeting at least once in the interim at some point, in Regents Park, weather permitting. Watch this space for further information.
– Tania is hosting a 2-hour quiet writing session every Sunday afternoon at Starbucks on Westbourne Grove, Bayswater followed by a discussion in the local pub. If you are interested in coming the details are through the link below:

It is free to sign up to Meet Up, join the group and attend. The only thing is to buy a drink or something to eat at Starbucks as we are essentially renting a space from them for two hours.

Where are you all?

We’ve been missing all your lovely presences throughout the Winter season in Marylebone Library on Monday evenings. Where are you all? Come back to our group!
Or, if you’ve not yet been, you are very very welcome to join us.
We are a well established friendly creative writing group meeting every Monday evening at Marylebone Library from 6.30 to 8pm.
Come to listen or read or both. Oh, and we’re free!
See you soon!

Welcome!

Welcome to our Blog!

Members, we look forward to seeing your work here. It’s great to have this place to share our work with the potential for the wider public to link up and comment. It can also help those who’re unable to attend the group meetings at times to still get feedback and a sense of community. If you’re a member of the Westminster Writers’ Group, you are very welcome to register as a user, just let us know, and we’ll set you up as an Author so that you can post your own work.

Readers – and that particularly includes members of our group, however many times you have joined us, you are very welcome to constructively comment on our work. We hope you gain something from reading here.
