Review: Be Careful What You Wish For

Chronicles of Tania

Be Careful What You Wish For
Be Careful What You Wish For by Jeffrey Archer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Th saga continues with a few more ups and downs for the Clifton and Barrington families courtesy of the Argentinian villains, the crazy Lady Virginia and Major Fisher. One more book to go in this series of five books and we get to the 1950s era.

Review: The Cuckoo’s Calling

Chronicles of Tania

The Cuckoo's Calling
The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a nice foray into crime fiction with an interesting detective with a disability and psychological issues along with his totally different sidekick, who together make a great team.

Even if I didn’t know this was written by JK Rowling, I would have guessed from the writing style and the trademark ‘sinister’ gamboling kittens against a pink background that resurfaced again from Harry Potter book 5 – Order of the Phoenix! The author has a deep fear of pink and kittens I think!!
